John Padgett

John is a member of the Norfolk Rotary Club and served as the District Governor of D7600 in 2017-18. He practices law to support his Rotary addiction. John worked on the Titanic salvage case. So his clients are literally ship wrecks looking for his assistance. John joined Rotary shortly after cutting his teeth. Since then he has cut his teeth on leadership positions in every facet of Rotary. John has a passion for Rotary service and he has spent many nights in Holiday Inns. John admits to being afraid of roller coasters, Red Sox fans and dry ice. John served as the Operations Chair for the Atlanta and Pittsburgh Summits. He still grieves over the breakup of Simon and Garfunkel. Yet, you will not hear anything but the sound of silence from him. John is excited to be back on the stage for the Naples Summit.
