Michele Berg, in her role as Deputy General Secretary/Chief Operating Officer at Rotary International, is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Global Secretariat ensuring effective internal operating policies and implementing strategies and programs. She oversees Global People and Talent, Administration and Operations, Audit, International Operations, Strategy, and support to the Rotary Board and Trustees.
Michele graduated from Loyola University and then earned her M.B.A. from the University of Illinois, Chicago. She is a Certified Association Executive (CAE).
Michele is a member and past president of the Rotary Club of Evanston. She is a multiple Paul Harris Fellow, member of the Paul Harris Society and Bequest Society, and a Benefactor and Major Donor of The Rotary Foundation. She lives in Evanston, IL with her husband and two daughters.
